I'm Jules

I'm a family girl from Cape Town, and in my free time I love hiking, climbing, cooking, reading, entertaining friends & family, and exploring the great outdoors with my two dogs. I geek out on beautiful light, and I love creating art with your memories! It's a privilege I don't take lightly, and I couldn't be more passionate about my work.

I sort of fell into the wedding industry... I was working as an editorial photographer before that, where the lifespan of an image (from conception to print) clocked out at three months. So when I walked into a client's home and saw the photos I'd taken at their wedding plastered all over their walls, it was a cathartic moment that pivoted my focus from that point on. The responsibility, and value that comes with capturing timeless moments like these, that will tell your stories for generations, was an instant drawcard.

It was travel that initially sparked my love for the camera, and since then my photographic career has taken me to Dubai, England, France, Thailand, Angola, Mauritius, and all over South Africa.

I've always been fascinated by people and relationships, and I absolutely love being able to work with both. I've been photographing weddings for 10 years now, and I've met some truly wonderful people along the way. I hope you're next!
